Mountain Top has an awesome team of office people working for them. We had forgotten a lap top and called to let them know. They returned our call within an hour to let us know they found it. We have went through them yearly for several years and have always had great service.
Unfortunately not a great experience. We stayed at Sandcastle on the Slopes. Crickets, cockroaches, earwigs ad other bugs in the basement. Window seals full of dead bugs. When I called to express concern they offered to send someone over with a can of bug spray. We declined as it would've been intrusive at that point and the entire place needs professionally treated. We stayed at Hawthorne Lodge, a beautiful and spacious home. Unfortunately, we discovered a bed bug in one of the bedrooms, along with signs of past activity (see photos). As a result, the room couldn’t be used and two guests had to sleep on couches. Mountaintop Realty arranged an inspection, but the report only noted no “live bed bug activity” and didn’t address the actual disruption. No gesture of goodwill was offered despite paying close to $2,500 for three nights. The home was great, but the response left us disappointed... read more
We rented a place that turned out to be an absolute dump littered with dead bugs, cobwebs and broken/damaged dirty items throughout the home. Everything from the furniture to the carpet, kitchen cabinets…you name it…needed replacing (like 30 years ago). I could tell from the advertised pictures it was dated but could absolutely NOT tell it was actually dilapidated and DIRTY.
