We checked into Mountain View three weeks ago for what was supposed to be a 5 night stay in site 16 in our 42' fifth wheel. Erin was our contact and was always very responsive and pleasant. Mountain View is halfway between Cody and the Yellowstone east gate, so for us, it was perfect. Easy ride into Cody and the same to the east gate. The view from the campground was fabulous..... mountainside right outside your door. Extremely peaceful and quiet and evenings are dark and perfect for star gazing. Nice little campground at the foothills of Yellowstone. Half way between Cody and the east gate of the National Park. Easy to get in and out. FHU. All worked as advertised and were conveniently placed. Plenty of room between sites. Erin, owner/manager was very friendly and stopped in to make sure anything was good. Quiet setting with amazingly views of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again.
This place is amazing! We stayed for almost a week, I wish it was longer! The cabins are adorable. Everything seemed brand new. The staff were wonderful. And location perfect. You’re 40 mins from Yellowstone and 20 from Cody but it’s so quiet there! It’s perfect!!
