My experience was with ⚠️ Emily Richards- VERY IMPORTANT PLS READ!! I’ve been seeing Emily since I was 17, I’m 21 now. The red flag that really opened my eyes was recently when discussing what medication to try next. She asked why I had stopped taking x medication, which at this point I’ve taken around 15 different medications throughout our time together, so I did not remember. This is a therapy practice where you feel cared about as soon as you walk in the door! We've had a great experience with Mountain View and have recommended several friends and family. Their reception is courteous and kind, the therapists we've interacted with are skilled and professional and the office environment is calm and inviting. We've had zero billing issues and communication is solid and reliable. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things!
Would never use them again. Very dishonest billing practices. A family member had been seeing them weekly for several months & we were satisfied. A few times the family mbr missed an appt w/o 24hrs notice & we paid the $75 no-show/late cancellation fee. Then we specifically moved to bi-weekly appts and this is where the problems began. Either the therapist/receptionist kept booking the family mbr for weekly visits… which we would have to keep reminding them it was bi-weekly. This went on for a few months… repeatedly. I am only writing this review as a warning unfortunately, so you are aware of a potential risk if planning to use as evidence of hidden abuse. First off, The therapists are fantastic, the staff is welcoming and wonderful. It’s the policy’s and admin team here that is the problem. My young son talked to a therapist about some serious issues in 2023, and when I requested to have the therapist who had written notes of said abuse, I was using as evidence in court, was gone. Similar to other negative reviews, working with CERTAIN PROVIDERS at MVFT has been extremely frustrating. I don't generally write reviews, but felt it was worth my time to warn others to avoid this place if they are dependent on consistent medication fulfillment. We had problems for the ~6 months we worked with MVFT. At first, we were told the issues were with our pharmacy, so we switched pharmacies, but the issues continued.
