Made an appointment for a cleaning. New to the area. My husband had gone to this office for a procedure. Was informed that I had some "deep cleaning" (peridonal) that needed to be done. I requested that they just do a standard cleaning and I was refused. Dr. Smith stated that potentially the insurance "may" not cover it since there was evidence in the xray that I needed the deep cleaning. I was overcharged for a crown even after I told the office more than once the “estimated payment” was incorrect. My insurance covers 50% of crowns and that was not reflected on the initial treatment plan. Julie said it was corrected and sent me an updated plan. However, next visit I was still asked to overpay by $70. I reached out again and was told the updated plan had been scanned to my account. Then after my crown seating I was still asked for a higher payment. $10 difference this time instead of $70. Kelly told me “this ... read more
