Mountain Valley Home Comfort, Inc. from New Market , Va. was called to our home. The outside unit for our central air conditioning needed service ...was not cooling. Jim ...the technician was sent to our residence . He was about 2 hours......first said a coil was leaking and needed charging. Then he came back with another report and said the compressor was locked up . He gave us a bill for 475.00 and fixed nothing !!! TRIED TO SELL ME PARTS THAT ARE NOT IN MY UNIT! Called them for no A/C and was told I needed 3 parts with a quote of $1100. I purchased my unit from my place of employment so I ordered the parts for a cost of $172.00 and had them replace. Quote I was given to replace was reasonable for 3 hours of work. Tech worked for 1 hour and still demanded original quote amount. The amount I was charged is 3 times DC COMMERCIAL HVAC Service rates! 2 hours later and still no cooling. Not an ethical business; they do not honor their extended warranties. They took advantage of me. Find another company. Mountain Valley Home Comfort is not recommended.
Crew arrived on time, worked steadily, and did an outstanding job of installing a new heat pump and tweaking some of the ducts in our system.
Like to thank Daniel P and Rob for a excellent job they did at the church today on the mini split install they did a great job cleaning up and showing us how to use them thanks again and would recommend mountain valley and there guys to any one
I want to comment on Stephen Lam. He is a fine gentlemen and very knowledgeable. He did a great job in performing the fall maintenance on our gas furnace on Aug. 23, 2017.
I would like to thank Daniel and his team that just replaced my air cond. It was a long hard day for these men. But they worked over to get the job done in 1 day without any problems. Thanks again.
Tricky mini-split installation and they handled it carefully and with full competence. On time, good price and high quality work!
