I chose to use Mountain Surfaces based on local recommendations and sales rep assurances that they were the premier flooring installer. I live out of state and the project was supposed to be turn key, I paid a hefty price. The quality of the installation can only be described as amateur at best, with incorrectly cut tiles, copious use of colored caulking to fill cavernous gaps, damage to walls, baseboards and even the new flooring. I had a few issues here that one after another just simply add up. Without going into detail I will say to think twice prior to doing business with MS. I would check into the other surfacing businesses in town or Crested Butte. You'll thank me.

This merchant has a wide variety of choices and can order materials quickly. However, their labor force is lax about showing up. Also Mountain Surfaces does not call or seem to care whether a worker "no shows" or not. No complaints about the finished project, but be prepared to be stood up a couple of times before its done.
