Every time I come home to West Virginia for a visit, I pick up the “Almost Heaven” and take it back with me! It’s a crisp, refreshing reminder of my home far away when country roads can’t take me home again for a while. I’ve turned some Buckeyes on to your beers too! Keep up the great brewing!
My husband and I aren't from around this area but we stopped by on a road trip. We had our dogs with us and needed a place to go that was pet friendly. I was thrilled when we stopped in and our bartender (Heather) was so nice to us and our dogs. She brought them water and we got to sit inside their covered patio area! Which was great for our Huskies. The environment is really cool, prices are great, and the beer is really good! Heather made me a Blueberry Shandy with their Lagar. It was amazing!!
We are in the area 2x a year and make it a point to stop by at least once on our trip. The beer is ALWAYS good, the staff is fantastic and this trips live band was AWESOME!
We had the best time hanging out with friends and family at Mountain State the night before our wedding. We were able to use their party room and outdoor space, and they were very easy to work with on figuring out details (like what beer to serve!). Our guests loved the space, the vibe and the drinks (the Devil's Gulch seasonal was particularly tasty) and we loved knowing that we were in good hands. We love Mountain State Brewing and will be back the next time we're in Thomas!
Great place. Came the first time to see Hayes and we go out of our way to stop by every time we are in town. I enjoy the sangria, a sandwich, good company and the great atmosphere. Well worth a visit!!
I love making a stop here each time I visit Thomas WV. I would drive all the way from D.C. to hang out at this place. I don't even drink alcohol but even the non alcoholic drinks are really good. Oh yeah and no matter what people say, Heather is absolutely the best. It is Heather alone that makes Mountain State Brewing Co. the awesome place that it is.
