Mountain Shadows was sending me caregivers but not anymore. According to them I can do things for myself. Yeah right. I use a walker and I'm on oxygen. One caregiver they sent me said that she's an introvert. If she's an introvert what's she doing being a caregiver. When she takes you to the store such as Walmart she won't drop you off at the front of the store because she doesn't want to be in the way so she parks as far from the entrance as possible. Absolutely the worst agency providing care. There is no communication between caregivers and the Scheduler. I’ve only had the service for a few months and I’ve had 6 caregivers. They have sent me aids that have been instructed with FALSE information that they cannot “touch me” that they are only here to “observe me” and call 911 in case of emergency. I have been sent caregivers that don’t have cars so they cannot drive me for errands, they don’t speak English, they don’t know how to cook, they resist helping with chores (lau... read more

I'm new to them & already am experiencing a lack of communication. The email I sent (and I specifically asked for an email address because that is the best way I can communicate) has gone unanswered for weeks now, and calling the lady says I'll transfer you & then sends you to a random voice-mail. I need them to answer the phone when I call, not call me back because I *need* someone here to help me make calls.
