I'm writing this review because my experience at Mountain & Sea Dental was overwhelmingly negative in ways that felt avoidable and unnecessary. My biggest issue was the ongoing lack of clear, accurate information. I was always very explicit that I only wanted the work we had agreed on--no surprises, no additions. The main reason I have this dentist ranked so low is -- they simply don't care. I was drastically overcharged for something that a simple check with my insurance would have verified. If they had cared even a little bit, I could have done my procedure a month later and saved that money. On top of this, there are other issues like not notifying me when their office was closed the day I had an appointment, forcing me to miss out on time I had taken off work. I've been a patient for many years. I suffer from depression and I have trusted Dr Carley re. billing, but I've become suspicious and had a family member who does dental billing professionally look at my records. She says I've been ripped off systematically for years with duplicate charges. I'm considering a lawsuit.

Poor staff communication, poor billing, poor cutomer service, poor organization... hygienists don't stay long. I have been receiving bills for over 100 dollars with no description of charges. Don't recommend going to this place.
