We recently contacted Mountain Poppy to do flowers for my son's wedding that was to be held at tahquitz Pines Retreat. Initially, I just wanted to get an idea of the cost. I was told to send inspirational flowers, and they would give me an idea. This was a small wedding with no wedding party. They gave me the cost of the bridal bouquet, three corsages, and three boutonnieres, $500.00. This seemed reasonable until I asked about the cost of doing arch sprays! Bella is an amazing and creative soul and it shows through in her work! She created a beautiful bouquet for our elopement with such care and attention to detail. It was easily my most favorite floral arrangement I’ve ever had. It was mid-January so she coordinated the bouquet with the season as well as our residence. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Extraordinary little store that will brighten up your day. Beautiful flowers and candles, and welcoming vibes from the charming ladies that run the place, Belle and Hal. The bagel place next door is really good too.
Mountain poppy is such a perfect addition to Idyllwild! The shop is so charming and not only filled with beautiful flowers (and a DIY make your own arrangement bar) but also great gifts like candles, cards and jewelry. I like to pick a color palette or theme and then let Bella create an arrangement for me. She is an incredibly talented florist and her bouquets never miss! If you’re looking for flowers for an event, wedding, special occasion or just to spark a little joy in your cabin, mountain poppy is the spot.
