Joy's operation is impressive! She clearly loves her dogs and they clearly love to work! I appreciate having been involved in every aspect of the set up, run, and clean up. The dogs were sweet and gentle, even when they were excited about the run, and particularly with my three year old.
Had a wonderful time.. thanks Joy! So informative... The dogs were so much fun. Getting to participate in the harnessing and hooking was awesome. The treats we earned.. homade cookies.. super yummy! I can't wait to go back when there's more snow on the ground.... And earn more paws... I NEED that swearshirt!!!!
What an amazing experience!! Getting to experience everything from harnessing the dogs to actually controlling the sled made it a memory for a lifetime! That being said, it won't be a once in a lifetime activity. We would highly recommend this to anyone in or coming though the area!
This was an incredible experience start to finish.There was this beautiful moment when the dogs were out and lined up before you help hook them up to the sleds. They had been fairly quiet, but once they're all out, they're so excited they can't help but howl all at once and I've never smiled so big in my life. Their excitement for the run is incredible. My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time with Joy and her pups this past Saturday. This experience will definitely be a core memory for us. Learning how to hook the dogs up and drive the sled was such a unique and one of a kind experience. We could not recommend this enough. There are times where Joy has to be stern with you or the dogs and this is necessary for everyone's safety so take it with a grain of salt and don't take it personally. This is a MUST DO activity when you are visiting Pagosa.
