Cute place with a garden growing herbs that we also found on our plates! It's nice to have a light avocado toast after so much heavy New Mexican food.

Mountain Monk Coffee is such a beautiful little gem in Taos. When you first walk in you are greeted by the warmth and authenticity that was curated by the owner. She is such a beautiful soul and has so much knowledge and insight about her ingredients, healing modalities and Taos. Her ingredients were not only delicious, but had endless health benefits. Coffee was so smooth we ordered one there and one to go! If you’re in town, this is a MUST to stop by.
I'm in love with this place! Taos friends and visitors - please keep this place thriving busy. Lacy prepares everything with intention, love, color, flavor. I fully trust the quality and cleanliness of everything here. I recommend trying everything on the menu, but I especially recommend the hot chocolate made from beet juice...crazy delicious (I think it's called Sweet Beet Hot Chocolate??).
