Updated from 5, now 2 Stars. I’ve been a customer of Mountain Mike’s in Star, but the service and quality have noticeably declined over the past few months. Today’s order was especially frustrating. I specifically ordered the pizza with NO olives and EXTRA jalapeños. What I received was essentially the opposite — the pizza was covered with black olives, while the jalapeños were sparse and inconsistent. The pizza was good. Better than the big chains, my problem is with amount of toppings you get. For the price surely you can load it up? Some of these slices have like 1 or 2 toppings.
The mozzarella sticks were weird. I’m not sure if they just bake them or what but I don’t think they fry them, I wouldn’t consider those mozzarella sticks. They’re more like a cheese stick wrapped in dough and baked off? Like a pig in a blanket? Idk but the pepperoni pizza was also too salty and way greasy and oily.
This was our first time trying mountain mikes pizza, We called in an order for pick up it was a large pizza with some changes to it, we picked it up in person, since it was our first time we didn’t really think twice about the size of the box but when we got home the box read medium. not only did they charge us for a large pizza and gave us a medium but the changes that were easy, weren’t done either. The receipt and the sticker on the box read our order correctly.
We had our pizza delivered and it was fresh hot and delivered when we expected..pizza was awesome! So good reminded me of a very successful pizza parlor in sisters oregon years ago! Keep up the good work! Highly recommend! If I'm ever back it will be for your pizza!
