Top Notch Service-Honest I have been taking my 2 vehicles to "Chris" for 6 years, since moving to Boulder Creek. I thought being the only mechanic here, I was going to raked over coals for a repair. I ended up finding out, after a few repairs, he is the only person I would ever trust to service and repair my vehicles! find a mechanic elsewhere!! this is the most uneducated shop i have ever seen! i dont think there is a single ase certification in the place. no knowledge of simple electronics or computer control! obdII must be a mystery to that chris guy. even a 72 celica was beyond him and he would not warranty his work...whatever! save time find somewhere else to go unless you drive a 74 pinto, only want an oil change and don't care about quality work!
Great Mechanic! I've been taking our cars to Chris for over 20 years (as have all of my relatives and many friends). You will not find a better, more honest mechanic anywhere. If he is not sure what a problem is, he is honest about it and keeps working on it until he finds the answer. He has solved many mechanical mysteries that have had other mechanics stumped. Excellent and versatile I have found this mechanic very reliable and resourceful. He has done everything from basic maintenance, repair, and simple body repair and replacements, and done them all well, and at reasonable prices.
Highly Recommend We live in Soquel and it takes us over 35 minutes one way to get to this shop. We do it because they have never tried to sell us stuff we don't need; prices are fair; service is good. The mechanics are paid decent wages by the hour -- not by commission -- so they are not trying to sell you extra stuff. If we need a minor repair or just an oil change or smog we walk over to one of the local places for lunch while the work is completed.
