An interest in native plants and a zeal to create lush gardens with hardy plant species propelled him to be named a top Xeriscaper in 1990. The next challenges came amid the forests and damp metropolitan area of Seattle, Washington. Settling in the "grape country" of Northern California he has re-established Mountain Meadow Landscape.
