My mother was there for a short-term rehab. I want to say first that being in a rehab center and not at home was very difficult for her. She accepted this is where she needed to be to get back home. From the moment we got there we were greeted with kindness, compassion, and open arms. My mother thrived with the help of the staff and fellow residents. I had a neighbor in the skilled nursing facility. Their stay was 20 days before being deemed they were ready to go home. Mountain Manor staff were attentive and polite. The Doctor or Nurse Practitioner paid daily visits. Administrators/ Social Services were helpful in scheduling Veterans Administration appointments as well they helped set up home health services. Mountain Manor is an excellent Skilled Nursing Facility. The nurses and CNAs are attentive and always have the best interest of the patient in mind. My wife has dementia and they were very caring to ensure her needs were met. The Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy staff are top notch.
