We lived at Mountain Lane for about two years. Overall, it was an okay place to live, but there were enough issues that I wouldn’t consider it worth the price. There are definitely some positives. The kitchen was nice, the view of Rib Mountain was great, and the location is very convenient. It’s centrally located and within walking distance of several shopping options. We moved out about six months ago after a year and a half. In that time, there were three different managers, which meant very little consistency in how things were run. The listing said there was a pool, there wasn't. The street noise was far louder than anything that was disclosed. The concrete on the patio was crumbling. And despite the state of the place, rents felt way out of line with what you were actually getting. My husband and I lived at Mountain Lane Apartments about two years. Christina was the manager at the time. She was amazing, very friendly, accommodating and she kept the building clean and maintained well. Christina left and Cheryl is now the current manager. She is amazing as well. She has really put a new face on the inside with new colors and fresh decor. Cheryl is very professional and also very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. She stages the building very well. We have lived at Mountain Lane for three years, after moving from the UP of Michgan, and not once regretted our choice. Yes, the apartments are beautiful, the location is in close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, medical facilities, and more. What makes Mountain Lane a real home is people. I have lived at Mountain Lanes apartments for almost 2 years and it is a great apartment community with wonderful neighbors and great management. Highly recommend.
