Mountain Hardware and Sports is a great store to browse through... I stopped by recently to buy a lock and key and they had quite a selection to choose from. 🔐
There really isn't a better place in Truckee to get almost everything and anything you could need. Sure, it isn't Dollar General or Target but darn it, for a small town it tries to come close! Beyond your typical hardware store, this place also stocks fishing equipment, licenses, clothing, rugged footwear, household goods, cleaning supplies, paint, some sporting goods, home decor, and yes even hats and clothing! If you are looking for something and ask a local, we'll say "Oh you know, Ace may have it!"
