Our students at Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism have been visiting Mountain Gardens annually for almost 15 years. It is always a highlight of their nine months of study, a joy, and an inspiration. Joe is a phenomenal wealth of knowledge and wisdom.
I just stayed at Mountain Gardens for the past week and had THE MOST AMAZING time learning about Chinese Medicinal herbs! Joe's plant walks introduced me to so many of the herbs I've been learning about in a classroom, and it was incredible to finally get to meet them! Visited Joe and his Mountain Gardens yesterday. Wish I could remember 1/100 th of what I was exposed to. So much knowledge in that man's head. Beautiful place. I'm sure I'll be back.
