We had a new home placed on an existing basement with some interesting challenges. JD is a patient, honest contractor with a perfectionist's attention to detail and a practical approach. It took us a while to decide what exactly we wanted and he never pressured us to make a sale. Once the project began, he did everything in his power to make the process smooth and to make sure we were happy. I would highly recommend anyone to go with Mountain Brook Homes for a new build or remodel.
I have had JD and his crew do two different projects for me. He has a professional crew that show up when they say they will. What I appreciate the most , after working with other contractors , is that JD was in contact and kept me in the know at all times. This communication process puts JD over the top and I do not hesitate to recommend JD to anyone who needs any work done . He and his work crew will treat you well.
JD and Mountain Brook Homes recently completed a new Master Bathroom in my 1920's home. No small challenge. The process was smooth and the end result incredible, and on budget. I found JD very accessible, with attention to detail and super responsive to any concerns. I'd highly recommend him.
From contract execution to Certificate of Occupancy a little over 9 months later, it was a pleasure to work with JD Wallace and his team. We chose a modular Cape Cod style house from Excel Homes as the starting point. We worked with JD to specify several changes to the base house (e.g., 9' ceilings on the first floor, enhanced crown and baseboard moldings, field installed hardwood flooring, etc.).
