Worst hospital experience ever. Maternity room was a double and tiny. Not even room for a chair for father. Was told there were no private rooms only to be told later that while there are no “private rooms” there are single rooms many of which were renovated and empty but they refused to move us even though we were going to be there for 2 additional days (c-section) and were willing to pay extra because it meant that they would have to clean our room again. My father was a patient from 8/21 until 9/29 and it was the most horrendous experience for him as well as for his family. He walked into the hospital and was stretchered out related to a leg amputation to a rehab center almost 6 weeks later. He is now blind from a stroke that occurred while at the hospital. He also suffered a decubitus ulcer, bedsore, a catheter associated urinary tract infection and a surgical site infection.
