I’m an out of towner staying with a Mt Sinai patient and ran out of my own medications. The pharmacy was very helpful getting me what I needed and treated me with kindness and concern.
They went above and beyond to help me find the medication I needed. It’s a small pharmacy inside the hospital, so don’t expect it to be a Walgreens or CVS with tons of resources. It’s a hospital who is usually short staff. I’m grateful for the attention and care they provided me.
We had an interminable wait at this pharmacy. We were told 30-40 minutes, but when we checked back after 45 mintutes, the clerk had just input our information. She had plenty of time to joke around with her colleagues in the gift shop though. After an hour, the prescriptions were finally sent to the pharmacist for review. Go elsewhere to fill your prescriptions if you don’t have all day to wait around.
