If I could give a zero - I would. The pain mgt department at Sinai is truly awful - unless you have cancer - and then they have no problem prescribing narcotics. They have bought in to the misguided idea that prescribing narcotics for chronic back pain is always inappropriate and are unwilling to make exceptions. Having been a nurse for 50 years - and having undergone three back surgeries - and NEVER GONE OUT ON DISABILITY AND HAVE AKWAYS FUNCTIONED AT A HIGH LEVEL - the only reason I have been able to do that is because I h... read more

Confirmed the day before my appointment that they take my insurance. I get there and they tell me they don’t take my insurance and it will be $400 to see the Dr. All while I’m in crippling pain. They obviously do not care about people and only care about money. Would not even let me speak to the Dr for 5 minutes without charging me $400. I could barely stand up to leave the office, they didn’t care. Be careful going to see these drs. They will tell you what is needed to get you in the door. Dr. Serbin does not get back to his patients. I had a family member that needed their medication. His team or him did not get back to them. They had to suffer for weeks. He is a horrible person and doctor
