We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mount Sinai pediatric allergy office! From the moment we walked in, the environment helped ease my daughter’s nerves—she especially loved the fish tank in the waiting room. Dr. Tsuang was incredibly kind, patient, and truly listened to all my (many!) questions as a concerned mom. She took her time with us, explaining everything in detail and never making us feel rushed. Receptionist is extremely rude. It’s laughable I’ve been calling on repeat for the past month trying to get in touch and when someone finally answers- it’s the wrong extension.

While am sure the doctors are very competent it’s almost impossible to get an appointment that’s not at least a month wait. Rooms for food challenge are not infant friendly at all- no high chair for feeding, no play space or anything remotely child friendly- and you have to keep your kid busy for 4 hours and only one parent is allowed. And this is supposed to be a paediatric unit. Please improve!

I gave Dr. Hsi-en Ho one star all based on his insensitive manner of sending me home because I was 12 minutes late to an appointment that I’ve been waiting for almost 3 months. I’m an RN and I had to leave a little late due to my work. I spent $20 on a cab to get me to the appointment but the streets were closed and we had to take a detour during rush hour in NYC.
