Diaz – 8407 EMS Worker from Mount Sinai was extremely extremely rude to the patient and shelter staff upon her arrival. She also gave shelter staff a hard time and refused to give us her name and shield number for our records. Also, she didn't assist the patient with getting to the ambulance car. Do NOT go to this hospital. My husband was lucky to get out alive and the hospital ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY. He was without dialysis 5 days. He was without food or water 24 hours for a sugery he didn't get till the following day. They investigated and wrote an Oh so politically correct response. Unless you want to die or be brain damaged, you have no recourse except to inform the NY State of Health. This place is a mess.
