Don't trust them if they tell you that you are in network, they are either incompetent or just deliberately misleading you. Make sure that you get everything confirmed by your own insurance company before you accept any treatment. Additionally, don't expect to have anything explained to you, or to be treated with any respect or observation that you are a human being who is sick and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
