My partner has had a very severe case of the flu for over 5 days. We live in Greenpoint and I was initially worried that the trip out and the wait at the doctor's office would be too taxing for her. Office was clean and bright, the young man at the front desk was friendly, welcoming and helpful. I'm usually a nervous patient but his friendly demeanor put me at ease as soon as I walked in. Wait time was less than 15 minutes and the nurse practitioner Mi Chung Diane Pollack was very thorough and friendly. Listened to my issues, spoke with me and did a great job explaining my issues and sent me on my way with a prescrip. Service here was excellent! I called in advance to make sure they took my insurance and once they confirmed, I made the trip over. I was the only patient in the clinic at the time, so I was able to see the doctor within minutes. They figured out what was wrong, wrote me a prescription, and I was able to check out after about 20 minutes total. The facility was very clean and all of the staff members were so nice. Best trip to the doctor I've had in NYC.
I’ve been to many other urgent care facilities around the city and this was quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had. I’m new to the neighborhood, so I figured I’d try it out (though I typically go to CityMd’s and will continue to do so from here on out). I was the only patient in the entire facility, but still it took roughly 45 mins to see the doctor (with no explanation). Despite feeling very much under the weather with a bad case of bronchitis, the entire visit was great from start to finish. The facility is super clean and looks brand new even though it’s been open for a year. The receptionist, nurse, and Dr Ngai were all so friendly and also efficient, but never made me feel rushed. The nurse and Dr Ngai both had terrific bedside manner and made me feel very well looked after. They recommended City Chemist down the block to process my scripts, which was also expedient.
