The worst. They never answer the phone, if it even rings at all. It usually goes straight to voicemail. No one is ever there. The hours of operation states they are already open and so does the sign on the door, however, they are not open, did not answer the door and the phone went straight to voicemail. They open whenever they want to. The ghetto.
The woman that works in the front desk is rude, unpleasant and extremely unhelpful. I just got surgery three days ago and came in for a wound check, she was not sympathetic. She told me the doctor did not take my insurance once I got there ( previously call). Left without any medical help. This isn't the first time and I will never go back as long as that person greet you.
I love this place. Any time I've needed them they've been there for me. I live right around the corner and hope they stay. Covid has been tough on all businesses and there was a period where they may not have been open but we need to support them. I've had several life threatening issues and have walked in and been taken care of right away by nice and professional reception and competent medical staff. My partner has had a very severe case of the flu for over 5 days. We live in Greenpoint and I was initially worried that the trip out and the wait at the doctor's office would be too taxing for her. Mt. Sinai Urgent Care came recommended to us by several friends in the medical field, so we took the chance. Turns out it was very pleasant for everyone! The office was not crowed. Service here was excellent! I called in advance to make sure they took my insurance and once they confirmed, I made the trip over. I was the only patient in the clinic at the time, so I was able to see the doctor within minutes. They figured out what was wrong, wrote me a prescription, and I was able to check out after about 20 minutes total. The facility was very clean and all of the staff members were so nice. Best trip to the doctor I've had in NYC.
