So far I did my intake for behavioural health on the 2nd floor with Lisa Cohen yesterday. And I felt so uncomfortable. Judging me before I said stuff and tried answering my questions for me. Like no, I've never done anything illegal to get drugs don't act surprised. She had her own prejudgement, her own agenda to push her narrative onto me. It's hard. The staff here was extremely helpful in an emergency situation with our grandson in the Dec.-Jan. time frame as we reside out of state. Thank you so much for the care you gave him! We are very grateful.

I had a bad initial review of Mount Sinai behavioral health but because my Psychiatrist is very caring and has great bedside manner I will update my review and give them 5 stars they did make things right once I got my insurance fixed. I will say this the system with health insurance in the mix really makes getting help for mental health very difficult. I’m glad I was able to get things fixed and have a great caring psychiatric provider. So because of my good experience this month I have changed my review to be positive. The... read more

It's incredible to see how the review I wrote last month was quick to be removed/obscured, probably most notably for exposing the fact that MOUNT SINAI BHC was responsible for a DIRECT PHYSICAL SEXUAL ASSAULT that occurred from patient to patient during my stay. I can imagine, as a doctor in psychiatry myself, as to why they would not want their name attached to such an illegal action to take place in a HOSPITAL facility that has the sole job of protecting patients.
