It's hard to believe that as a patient at this facility. I'm calling to reschedule an appointment and either no answers the phone or the calls are dropped or better yet wait time is ridiculous and then you get cut off. Do better Mount Sinai !!! You give the number to this facility and all you get is the runaround. And to think patients call when they need assistance and can't obtain any. I went in pretty willingly to get help with my drinking. The staff was so loud at night, so sleeping was hard, the men were loud and obnoxious, and would comment on my body and what I ate. They give you HUGE portions to eat here, and if you don't eat it all you feel uncomfortable. There seemingly was no one there that wanted to talk about drinking and recovery- I was thrown into a bin of wanderers who were loud, obnoxious, and didn't even care so long as they were getting fed and could play dominos. Had asked for a new therapist because the one I had was condescending and rude. Very disrespectful and her bosses forced me to work with her. I don't think or feel that this is a good place for people.
