Mount Sinai is not a behavioral health center. It is a management center. All staff use “policy” as pretext to manage bodies, not treatment. Go there with agency, and they will attempt to break you. Maintaining funding is Mount Sinai’s number one priority. Patients be damned.

I just received a letter from MSRivington to inform me that I will not be seen as a patient, even though I am a former patient for years. The reason they stated was that I missed a few appointments. I contacted MSRivington and spoke to a clerk and explained that I was having surgical procedures. And also did a follow up on MyChart. Which evidently no one reads. So far I did my intake for behavioural health on the 2nd floor with Lisa Cohen yesterday. And I felt so uncomfortable. Judging me before I said stuff and tried answering my questions for me. Like no, I've never done anything illegal to get drugs don't act surprised. She had her own prejudgement, her own agenda to push her narrative onto me. It's hard.
