Quick, efficient, understanding to the situation
You have to do something about the management of these fundamentals sports. Every season starts late because you can't find a coach. High schools, colleges or other avenues need to be explored to find volunteers. Parents cannot always coach or want to. It is good to get interaction from a coach other than parents but we are constantly pushed to coach or else no season. Signing up at DI from now on.
This past soccer season U9 was a joke. Director of the boys league refused to return calls or emails, showing a lack of respect for parents. Several games either didn't have a ref or refs were late reporting they didn't know they were scheduled. Poorly marked fields. Ian somehow losing the coaches forms and the parents who signed up didn't even get called. Ian really let the league down this pat season. The only saving grace were the parent coaches who did a great job and parental turnout.
I belong to and attend the Senior Center several times a week. The facilities are beautiful and the fitness center has plenty of well maintained equipment, even on a busy day. The employees, volunteers and other members are friendly and helpful.
Our 6 year old daughter has an amazing time with the minnows swim team at park west. She has developed into a much stronger swimmer than we thought was possible at such a young age and has had a blast!
Just what our daughter needed...she got so much out of this! Debbie Antonelli and the staff are incredible!
