I like Dr. Miller a lot, which is why I give this office 3 stars. He is a great DO who is knowledgeable and gives good care. His front office and nursing staff have been very good as well. But when considering this primary care choice, one has to consider issues beyond just the doctor/staff, such as those related to the Mount Nittany Health System they work for. Primary care here wasn't so great. I had to switch to a new one due to the lack of adequate care. Moved here from Colorado Springs, under the care of a primary care, a neurologist, and a urologist. My neurologist and urologist I have with Mount Nittany are amazing. However my primary care here was severely lacking. He had me do labs and refused my referral request to a urologist in the area because my blood work "looks great." Lester Griel is truly one of the worst PCPs i have ever come across. Medical gaslighting at it’s finest. Refused to further test and address issues I have been dealing with since 2019. I didn’t even want to see a PCP, but it needed to be the first step before seeing a specialist. I have seen countless doctors, been through literal hell and back with changing diagnoses and he literally listened to and took into account NONE of it.
