I've been coming to Mount Kare since I was little and love this camp! As a kid our coaches would always plan the best activities for us; I fondly remember archery, crafts, group games, hiking, cooking, chapel, campfire singing (in summer), and tubing/snow play (in winter). Now that I'm older and have the opportunity to help run camps at Mount Kare, I love sharing those activities and traditions with the teams I coach. The name is Mount Kare. It is not a camp but a retreat center. Great for church or family retreats. The administrative staff is very nice. Cozy atmosphere, beautiful view of the mountains. The food was great and there were a lot of things to do with the youth such as: hiking, camp fire area, a bouncy structure, basketball, a Nerf like shooting gallery, paint room area, archery, ping pong tables, billard table and foosball table, ....etc. We attended in the second week of September and the weather was amazing, sunny, beautifu... read more
