My Mom has taken her pets there for 20+ years now and just loves Dr Truban and his staff(especially Dr Truban’s daughter). Today Dr Truban had to put my Mom's favorite baby Tora to sleep. Today was one of the hardest days of my life. My sweet 5 year old German Shepard, Beau, who has suffered from lymphosarcoma, finally went to Heaven. I was a wreck for almost three days because our normal vet we went to would not let us be present for Beau to be more comfortable and make his way to Heaven. Cannot say enough good things about Dr Truban and his staff, particularly Britani. We had an urgent situation with our dog recently and Britani went (far, far) above and (well) beyond with ensuring that our dog was cared for promptly. Dr Truban treated our dog and he was good as new in no time. Could not have asked for better treatment. He’s also treated our pet in non-emergent situations and has always made sure our dog was well taken care of. Definitely recommend Dr Truban and staff!
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for my Barney when our vet was closed for a family emergency. My baby was sick and you helped me do what was right for him and you were so kind to us both as we said our goodbyes. That little pawprint you made for me is so precious to me. I can never thank you enough for your kindness during a very unexpected and hard time. God bless you all for even seeing him and for caring for me too. You really went above and beyond.

Help! Our sweet cat Sukhi escaped our car at the Mt Airy Circle K! We got home and realized he was not in his carrier. Per the Circle K, apparently a nurse is taking him to a vet. He is a hairless Peterbald cat. Please share with people you know in and around Surry county!!!
I brought my dog Cash in Monday to be seen since his vet was closed for surgeries and I was so impressed at how friendly and helpful the staff was. My dog gets anxious and is his mamas boy and he loved the staff here. They referred us to an ophthalmologist in Greensboro and solved the problem right away. We loved it here so much we have decided to switch his medical care to Dr. Truban who was very helpful and kind. Thanks again to Dr. Truban and the kind animal loving staff members!!
