I’ve been with Motus Nova for almost two years now and I find their device indispensable. It’s like having an OT in my house, which here in the middle of nowhere is pretty cool. Beyond the stretching (which is undoubtedly my favorite part) having active assistance with my exercises is game changing… it makes me feel like I’m not in this alone. My Motus coach is great! I love Miriam and appreciate her so much. She is very patient and kind and one of the best cheerleaders. If would have given 5 stars for her alone. The 4 stars is for the company as a whole. They literally are unacceptable on so many levels. They are often not on the same page. They will lie to you without a second thought. I was diagnosed with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis in Aug. 2025. Prior to the Motus Foot, I was experiencing drop foot and had several falls. This product has changed my life. I no longer experience drop foot. I have strength in my ankles, my tone has decreased, and my balance is improving daily. I am very frustrated with Motus. They informed me that my insurance denied the claim and did I want to set up payment plans or return the machine. After contacting my insurance company and digging further to find out their third party billing partner submitted the claim to the wrong BCBS for an entirely different state. When dealing with a stroke there is so much to deal with I just wonder how many have been denied and just set up a payment plan. You get to try the machine for 6 months and then be careful.
