I want to share my experience dealing with Mitsubishi Motorcity so others can be careful. If you do any business with them, please make sure you get each and every detail in writing — even the obvious things. Otherwise, things may be denied later. My experience at Motor City Mitsubishi was incredibly disappointing. We spent over an hour driving to the dealership, eager and ready to purchase a $32 all in mazda vehicle. Unfortunately, our excitement was met with arrogance, dismissive and a completely unprofessional demeanor from salesperson named Jay. The sales don't have any idea about the culture and way of talking while representing a Japanese brand. The sales is more keen on collecting deposit rather than selling car. While they are sitting in Japanese brand shop, but treats customer like they are owning showroom of fancy European expensive cars. They are ruining the brand name with their sales and customer relationships. I purchased a 2026 outlander in January 2026 from Motor City, unfortunately my SUV didn't start on several occasions (with no notifications) after I parked for a brief period (getting gas), the drivers heated seat works intermittently, my forward and reverse alarms come on which don't allow me to move the SUV. They DO NOT stand behind the warranty. They hooked up a device which can't find any issue, I was informed not to bring it back unless it completely stops working.
