RecommendedAngie explains everything if it’s your first time floating. The whole place is wonderfully serene. I wish I could stay in that cocoon 24/7.
I had my first float today, and it was an incredible experience. Staff was extremely friendly from the minute I walked in the door. She gave a tour, explained how everything worked, gave me tips for my first time, and asked if I had any questions. The facility was clean, the ambiance was great, and the float itself was super relaxing and exactly as advertised. I was able to spend the time completely de-stressing and relaxing my whole body. I will definitely be a regular!
This was our first time floating, and it was great! Motor City Float was VERY clean and had a nice, relaxing atmosphere. We would DEFINITELY recommend!

If you’re stressed since this pandemic started... GO TO MOTOR CITY FLOAT!!!!!!! I haven’t been this relaxed in quite awhile. The technician Katie was a sweetheart. She explains the procedure to you, then let’s you have the BEST 60 minutes you’ve had in quite awhile. I HIGHLY recommend going.

I have been hoping that floating would come to our area every since I heard of it's amazing benefits - well, I just had my first floating experience and loved every minute of it! I had high expectations walking in and Motor City Float exceeded every one of them. From the awesome staff who are truly passionate about floating, to the beautiful experience I had inside the tank - I couldn't be more thrilled. I will absolutely be going back on a regular basis.
Today I tried my first infrared sauna and it was wonderful! The facility is clean, warm and inviting. The sauna itself was beautifully kept and the room had nice accommodations. It felt like I was laying on a beach and made me forget all about the fact that my car got stuck in the snow on my way there!
