I wanted to share a review, KNOWING that the shop has already closed down. The guys at MotoRider were and still are class act guys. The bad reviews on here might reflect examples of those occasions when things just do not go right. I owned an Aprilia motorcycle, i had to expect maintenance on it wasn't going to be cheap. 3 hours to mount new tires off bike. No wonder you're going out of business
Was unhappy with the armored hoodie I purchased from them because it does not have a spine guard or a pocket for one, called to discuss my purchase and the return policy and product manager decided that I could not return my purchase and there was "nothing he could do." Lady I talked to on the phone was very nice but overall I am very disappointed in my purchase, this company and how my request was handled even though my purchase was less than 30 days ago. I will not purchase from them again. ;-(
Kind of disappointing. I was really hoping to find a shop that wasn't staffed by a bunch of hacks. Sadly, this was too much to ask for. I spent $2000 with them, and was pleased with the items I purchased, but the shop end of things needs help. They lost some of my parts while doing service and took a lot of time to complete tasks that should have been easy. Very sad.
Their motto at the door is something like "the rider comes first" and this is TOTALLY the case based on their hours. They are open 7 days a week, and on weekdays they are still open till 7! That is incredible for me, and way better than any other motorocycle store in the northern IL/Souther WI area that I've gone to.
