I love MotivHealth and their sister company StartHealth. They are truly managing health insurance with intention and purpose to decrease the cost of healthcare by showing you how to be an effective consumer!
Everything requires pre-authorization but then nothing ever gets authorized everything gets dragged out for long periods of time just to get denied. Even simple things that you get told should "definitely" be authorized always get denied.
Start Health is a Great option for those looking for an alternative to Marketplace or traditional insurance plans.
This a very frustrating insurance to have supplied by my employer as no provider I have come across knows who they are. Want to utilize a provider website to establish care? Sorry, Motivhealth won't be an option on the drop down menu. Need to call to establish care? Sorry, they've never heard of Motivhealth.
