Management should follow up with customers who share concerns. We drove 800 miles from Ohio to pick up a bike we purchased over the phone and paid for in full. When we arrived the following weekend, it had already been sold to someone else. We got as much help and assistance as possible from Ben at the Asheville store but left disappointed. Awesome shop. Stopped in today to ask about the Fire Mountain Trails and spoke with Sam. Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Felt welcome immediately. Wish I didn’t live three hours away but I know I’ll be coming back the next time I’m in town. 5/5
Absolute best customer service! I drive all the way from Saluda NC to use this shop.
Staff was rude both times I’ve been in here. Talked to my girlfriend as if she was stupid or didn’t know about bikes. Came today (obviously during shutdown) but called before and we’re told they were opened. Got here and was told they’re “not in the place to sell things right now.” Very rude and overall not a good experience.
These are folks that ride bikes. The mechanics are obsessed with doing great work. The sales staff is super helpful, product knowledgeable, and laid back. The AVL store is well stocked. The Sylva store has the hometown feel that makes you feel like you’re walking into Cheers. The Cherokee store is very close to Fire Mtn. 5 ⭐️
