We had take out tonight from Mother Anna's-I love being able to get North End quality food locally...delicious!!

Waited so long to go, so tonite was the nite. Sorry to say that we were slightly disappointed. We felt like we were rushed from the moment we sat down.The house salad was ok - romaine, tomato, cuke, onions, the gnocchi looked like they were frozen - sauce was good - linguine with clams (clams were few) had no taste and was swimming in oil. Might try one more time.l
I've always loved mother Anna's in the north end but have only been able to get up to Boston a few times to eat since moving to Plymouth. Having mother Anna's in Pembroke is so much more convenient. We now have a new birthday restaurant....?
I have been here twice and it was delicious! Great service too. If you have to wait because it is so popular, you need to chill. It's worth it! Finally an amazing Italian restaurant on the South Shore. Can't wait to go back.
Finally a place to get authentic Italian cuisine on the south shore! Tried the eggplant parm and gotta say it was the best I ever had. Staff was awesome. Recommend sitting at the bar as the bartenders are some of the best around.
