I've never stayed in a hotel/motel that didn't have carpet, but that was the least of this establishments problems. Beds sounded like rubber on rubber (the slightest movement produced a huge noise), toilet complained every time it was flushed, shower design was horribly awkward, parking was at a premium (and the entrance from the rear parking lot smelled like horrible all 3 times I had to use it), walls must've been paper thin, linens had stains, and the list goes on.
