I think the staff at Motel 6 are underrated because every time I have stayed at Motel 6 in Tumwater I have shown up with a bad attitude for being on the road for too long yet no matter how bad of an attitude I may have the housekeepers always have a smile for me and some kind words to say I just want to say thank you very much to the staff at Motel 6 for putting up with my bad attitudes in particular to Becca and Holly for a very clean room that I left dirty and came back to a clean room new sheets fresh towels and smelt not... read more
I was ripped off, literally! The cleaning staff hired by Motel 6 Tumwater, WA. robbed me of $600 after rifling through my stuff, then, when I complained to the manager, she was extremely rude and blamed me for my loss! Incredible! If you value your possessions do not stay here, where management protects the thieves that work for them! No more tips for the maids!
Recently remodeled. Don't know how I feel about the laminate flooring..

The national chain (more than 800 locations in the U.S.) accommodates traveling families, as kids stay for free and complimentary coffee is available every morning. The rooms are simple--a TV on the dresser (free HBO and ESPN), data port for computer users and a basic bathroom--but at these prices, who needs a whirlpool?
AVOID!!! – We needed a one night stay before heading back home from the Seattle area and this location looked ideal, a place where we could avoid most of the morning traffic rush and get a fast start after a good night's rest.
