We got to reception 2 minutes after they closed at 5pm, communication via text was not great. Despite paying with my wifes card, which is a joint bank account, i had to provide another card in my name to secure a room. This is done by talking into a intercom on the wall outside, with traffic noise nearby. I realise it is budget accommodation but the TV on the wall takes at least 1 minute to produce a picture. Great location close to the shops and salamanca! the water pressure was absolutely perfect, beds were super comfortable, had a lovely long window seat at the window in my room too which i loved! everything was great, loved my stay very much!
Pretty nice area, but too far to walk to any restaurants, the service is kinda sh** but its a moderately okay room clean nice bathroom beds comfortable but I was on the ground floor and when I layed in bed I had a clean view straight to the huuge window looking out to the main road, for someone by themselves that was very unsafe feeling please install bars in the windows and get thicker window shades because all I could do was stare though the see through blinds all night long watching people walk passed the window it was ho... read more
Clean room with good view of the beach from the 2 sides of the room. Great sunset view.
Stayed here for a few days on a trip to Hobart. The rooms are newly renovated with large bathrooms and showers. The kitchen is well-appointed with cutlery, plates, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave oven. Bed was pretty comfortable. I read others spoke about little traffic noise in previous reviews. We found the traffic noise to be loud as the apartments face directly onto the main road and the apartment doors open to outside, not an indoor corridor. There is also no double glazing or curtains to block out the noise.... read more
