Excellent service since I’ve moved in, everyone has been so nice and welcoming, when you need service done they come right away and get it fixed, overall it’s been nice living in Alcove. If you need any assistance or move in assistance contact Patricia for any questions she is great ! 😊
If you want to live here, consider these three important things: 1. Communicate only by email. Always use email when dealing with the leasing office to have a written record. Verbal conversations can be twisted, and some staff—especially Emily—can be dismissive or even rude. 2. Watch out for move-out charges. They may bill you for questionable reasons after you leave. I’ve lived here almost 4 years and it has been awesome and all the staff have been great when it comes to accommodating your request no matter how specific! Swiss from maintenance is always very friendly and quick in completing requests and getting everything we need for our apartment! 10/10 Would Recommend!
We lived in The Alcove a little over a year ago for 2 years. We originally signed the lease with Elysian as the property management but by move in the property was unfortunately owned by Greystar. The complex itself constantly had issues like the pools being closed for extended periods and having city inspectors always writing reports on it, residents allowing their dogs to use the bathroom in the hallways mostly due to the community having no where for pets to go, the elevators breaking down for months on end, their payment... read more
If you’re considering moving here, I highly recommend looking literally anywhere else. The management’s communication is practically non-existent — emails, portal messages, and voicemails are rarely, if ever, answered unless the issue gets escalated publicly or in a way that threatens their reputation (like reviews). I’ve had an ongoing issue for over a year with packages consistently being delivered to the wrong address.
