I should've listened to the rating and not my mama lol it was mid af yams thick and weird no flavor, mac and cheese was cheesy but no flavor
Did not enjoy the food. The ribs provided was a very small portion. Further the ribs were overcooked, dry, and lathered with a salty BBQ sauce. The greens were very salty. The candied yams were so so. Definitely not worth the money I paid as I wound up discarding most of the food.
I don't know how I stumbled upon this place but I am glad I did. I am OBSESSED with the smothered pork chops and Mac and cheese. It is so Tasty and packed with flavor. I will say I was not a fan of the fried chicken it tasted like raw flour as if it didn't fry long enough. The location is small and extremely hot so better to get your food to go or door dash, also the service can be better. Food is not too good.
I ordered from this restaurant. I must say that I was delighted! My oxtails were well seasoned and falling off the bone. I might add the turkey wings were absolutely DELICIOUS!
