We made a special trip to the Original Mo's in Newport today. We had a party of 5 with 2 people in wheelchairs. The hostess was very friendly and seated us promptly at a table that worked out great for us. The atmosphere was great except for the screaming baby at the table next to us. When we mentioned something to the waitress, we were told there was nothing she could do. Another waiter came over and apologized for the inconvenience and the family did try to console the baby. Being from South Texas, I have never had true Clam Chowder till I wandered in here. One word...OUTSTANDING!
Really nice setting and view and the staff were great but the fish and chips were very bland and not tasteful at all and the fish itself was way overcooked. Fish tacos were good per my daughter and the burger was great per my son. Had much better fish and chips at brew pubs that aren't even seafood restaurants.
