expensive and good food
very poor service – Today we had a very bad experience with this restaurant , we ordered food to go, when picked up there were several items missing and we had to go back and ask for them, also, the person on the cashier does not give back the change. very disappointed for a such a resturant that suppose or people think it has a name in orange county. will never never go back again. there are too many small restaurant which are far better. do not go there
Amazing Steak – Yes folks, I do eat here at least once per week, so here is one of the best kept secrets around...wait for it, wait for it... HAPPY HOUR! That's right, from 5 -630, Mortons offers a Bar Bites Menu with every item on the Bar Menu at only $5! Seriously, $5 for 3 amazing mini burgers, or 4 steak sandwiches for $5, or why not the mini wedges for the same price. This is the best deal in town. You can get stuffed for $5-$10. Yummy steak – Their foods is really great and the staff is approachable. I love their delicious steak.
Nigthmare – My man simply adores a good steak. So, we went to Morton's Steakhouse on Liberty Ave in Pittsburgh for my boyfriend's birthday on 2/24. We had a terrible experience. Disappointed is an awfully inedequate adjective - our reaction was a stunned, blind-sided disappointment. Please, if you want to experience a romantic, enjoyable evening with your love, don't do what I did - don't go to Morton's.
When I want beef...... – When I want beef, I go to Morton's and drag people with me. As a frequent traveler to Chicago, I have had experience with "Steak House" dining out there for many years. I actually went to the original Morton's and personally, Pittsburgh's set-up is a close copy. Traditional, huge portions and very much like a Men's Club, that sums it up. Though it may cost a good bit to get in, you don't have to be a "member". Go and stuff yourself on a Double Porterhouse, you will love it!
Infuriatingly BAD! – Ok, i have eaten at Morton's and San Antonio's i was told was one of the best. WRONG Service and food STUNk. We waited so long for a drink and then for our food. THe workers were more interested in going home so they were busy cleaning up way before closing time. The ribeye and the filet mignon were crucified by the cook. Great food! – My daughter and I ate here before the ballet at the Keller Auditorium. It was close and we love steak, so thought it a good choice. We loved the presentation of the food, however it was a little daunting not knowing the prices. We ordered steak, each of us, a potato to share, tomatoes with blue cheese dressing, a glass of wine, and a water, and our bill was $260.00. Great Food and Atmosphere! – My husband and I went to spend some time together. We were readily greeted and taken to our seat. They were even so kind to offer me a black napkin as not to get lint on my all black outfit. Our server was very knowledgeable and gave us a visual demonstration of the food they had to offer.
