New owners and the menu is different. No more table side presentations. Steaks are still great but the salad was not good. Lettuce was wilted and barely any bleu cheese but the hot chocolate cake was the same as before and delicious! I will miss the old Morton's.

Great food! – My daughter and I ate here before the ballet at the Keller Auditorium. It was close and we love steak, so thought it a good choice. We loved the presentation of the food, however it was a little daunting not knowing the prices. We ordered steak, each of us, a potato to share, tomatoes with blue cheese dressing, a glass of wine, and a water, and our bill was $260.00. However the tomatoes were huge beefsteak tomatoes with homemade bluecheese that was to die for! The steaks were good, but not worth the price. We s... read more

Great Food and Atmosphere! – My husband and I went to spend some time together. We were readily greeted and taken to our seat. They were even so kind to offer me a black napkin as not to get lint on my all black outfit. Our server was very knowledgeable and gave us a visual demonstration of the food they had to offer. We were then given a hot loaf of bread that started off the the evening in the right direction. I had the small filet mignon with bernaise sauce. They cooked it to perfection. It was delicious. My husband had t... read more

good food, but way over priced – I went to Morton's steak house because our hotel was close by and my daughter wanted to go into the Koin tower. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly host and were seated soon after. The place was crowded so I figured that it was a good sign. We were seated close to the cooks which was fine with us because they were fun to chat with. The waitress first informed us of our drink options and I asked to see the menu. I was surpised that she gave me the drink menu which I found funny. She t... read more

Consistently Great! – My husband and I have been going here for years, both for business and for pleasure. We have experienced their catered, private dining and "regular" table service. The staff is always gracious and attentive. The food is consistently of high quality and prepared as requested. Yes, this is a national chain, but we are always made to feel welcome and special every time we go. The entrees are served ala carte, just share your sides and ask the salads to be served on split plates. They are happy to do this a... read more

THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES! – I went to Morton's on a whim last week after a show at Keller Auditorium. Bad idea. I have never been to a restaurant that so reminded me of the tale "The Emperor's New Clothes". Let me preface this by saying that I have no problem paying premium prices for premium food. However, this is the most OVERPRICED FOOD I've ever encountered. DON'T FALL FOR IT! It's a joke! All of the meat choices are at least $40 and come a la carte. All of the samples of meat and fish are "presented", as they call it a... read more

USDA prime beef, elegant tableside service and mammoth martinis. – In Short With its dark wood details, celebrity photos and tuxedo-clad waiters, this upscale steakhouse chain has the air of a posh men's club. Service is professional and discreet, with bartenders making a mean martini. Dinners begin with a waiter-driven cart laden with fresh vegetables, live lobster and cuts of steak; customers choose from porterhouse, rib-eye, bone-in prime rib and more. Side dishes are traditional and enormous, from baked potatoes and crea... read more

Not worth it.... – The food was OK. Our server was decent enough. I would not say that either was worth what we paid. Our bill for four was $404 and change. There was nothing over the top bad, just a lot of small 'stuff' that detracted from the whole. It should be a home run every time. For $100 per person guest check average, details should be attended to. The maitre d' was in need of a shoe shine. Maybe not too important but certainly indicative of the attention to detail in this location. Two bread plates missing from the... read more

Mediocre food for expensive price – During my most recent visit, I found myself unimpressed. I agree with an earlier poster who complained that they lack appropriate silverware -- I do not understand why we are expected to use our steak knives to butter bread. Beyond that, however, the food was lackluster. I had their 5 onion soup (which is just a fancy way to say french onion). The bread in the soup was tough and hard to eat, and I didn't enjoy it at all. The french onion at Red Robin is far superior in quality and price. I... read more
