When my wife and I walked in we were instantly made to feeel like family and the owners educated us a lot about jewelry, and resized and fixed a tiny missing crystal in my wife’s ring for MORE THAN a bargain, so I WILL BE buying her matching wedding band here, from “Grandma” as she told us to call her. Please make sure you get your quote in writing. Took two items in for repair and was quoted an amount and when I went to pay it went up double for the one item. There credit card machine didn't work at the time and when I received the charge I called them. Kevin was to call me and explain, but never did. I tried calling several times, phone service is ridiculous, no answer and cannot leave messages. I brought in my rings that were damaged in an accident. When I got them back after Mortons repaired them, they looked better than when I bought them originally. The price was very reasonable and the people working there are so lovely. I highly recommend using them for any jewelry repair needs! They also have beautiful unique jewelry for sale in their shop.
Was shocked to discover when picking up two rings for sizing, they charged me $205.00. One ring was 14kt. gold solitaire going from a size 7 to a 5.25 and a sterling silver ring going from a 5.5 to a 6.5. The prong on my engagement ring was also bent, does not look like it did when I took it in. I do not recommend having any repairs made here. Very upset customer. Hard lesson learned.
