My husband advised Dr. Morton of a pre-existing bleeding disorder weeks ago. The Dr advised that it would not be a problem and scheduled a knee replacement for September 16th. I called the office twice to be sure they were aware. I did get a callback after several days and explained the details almost 2 weeks ago. We were advised that everything was taken care of. This is a follow-up to my previous review “Do not go to this arrogant man dated 06 Jun 2019”. Well the St Louis Surgeon corrected Dr. Morton’s previous surgery that had hip loosening. He found a way oversized hip joint and hip cup which probably contributed to my hip loosing that Dr Morton put in. He also, corrected my 21 MM oversized leg length that was left from Dr Morton’s surgery. Dr. Morton has been treating me for an arthritic knee. After he put gel in my right knee I had no pain for almost a year. He's an excellent doctor and very personable! I highly recommend him!
Do not go to this arrogant man! I had a total hip replacement and I am young and active early 50’s. I complained repeatedly about my pain in my hip after surgery and went to see him multiple times. His response was “my surgery is good the xrays show it” Then he became heated and blamed it on my back and sent me for MRIs and multiple steroid shots to my back no relief. I finally went to another surgeon and found that a simple bone scan showed that my hip surgery had loosened. The problem is he does not listen to his customers... read more
I would not recommend Dr. Morton to anyone. I had a total knee replacement in April of 2015, and I still cannot walk without assistance. After Dr. Morton completed my surgery, I could not extend my leg more than 60 degrees. Dr. Morton did not know what to do to correct the problem. I spent three weeks in rehab, and my leg never got any better. Dr. Morton was at a loss. He does not know how to correct any complications that occur after surgery. I had to have another Doctor fix my problem.
He was excellent in my total knee replacement. He was kind and caring . He explained every thing carefully.
