I began using Dr Morton since moving back to east Texas last summer. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and he goes above and beyond for all of them. They by far have the best team I’ve ever had the chance to visit. Dr Morton and his staff care about us and pets. It’s really a breath of fresh air every time I go in.

My boy Karma become obstructed and couldn’t urinate. Took him to Morton’s after being informed by a member of their staff to the seriousness of his problem. Karma was a rescue kitten that my mother caught in the wild. Before I met Karma I’ve never heard a cat bark the way he did. Nearly 4 years later he has became a very important part of my life. When I brought my poor sick fur baby Scout to Morton Small Animal Clinic, one of the first things I noticed about everyone there was their heartfelt care and concern for every animal that enters their door. Their love for animals is so heartwarming & comforting. And the way they treat pet owners with care & understanding is amazing,
I recently brought our German Shepherd in for a second opinion. She was being treated for an ear infection in her right ear but it wasn’t improving after a month of being on antibiotics. Dr James Morton took it a step further. He found no ear infection, but there was a build up of hair and thick earwax in her right ear covering her eardrum. We scheduled a thorough ear cleaning under sedation and he was successful in removing a lot of the wax/hair that had accumulated...and she is much better!! Amazing and trustworthy vet clinic! Dr.Gilkerson is great and defiantly knows her stuff! My cat was so sick he could barley breath and now he is back to himself again after care from Dr.Gilkerson and her staff! 10 Stars!!❤️
